MINNESOTA:
In compliance with Minnesota Statute § 325E.3892, Michael Harding Art Formulas Ltd. is issuing a mandatory recall for products containing lead or cadmium levels that exceed the permissible thresholds. This recall applies to all retailers selling or holding for sale any affected products within the state of Minnesota.
Affected Products
This recall pertains to the following Michael Harding products, which fall within the 15 restricted product categories and have been documented to contain lead or cadmium in excess of state limits:
Lead-Containing Products:
- Stack Lead White (No. 703)
- Cremnitz White No. 1 (No. 308)
- Cremnitz White No. 2 (No. 307)
- Lead Tin Yellow Light (No. 512)
- Lead Tin Yellow Lemon (No. 514)
Cadmium-Containing Products:
- Cadmium Yellow Lemon (No. 401)
- Cadmium Yellow (No. 402)
- Cadmium Yellow Deep (No. 404)
- Cadmium Golden Yellow (No. 403)
- Cadmium Orange (No. 502)
- Cadmium Red Light (No. 503)
- Cadmium Red (No. 504)
- Cadmium Red Deep (No. 505)
- Cadmium Green (No. 412)
Immediate Actions Required
- Cease Sales Immediately: All sales and distribution of the affected products in Minnesota must stop immediately. This includes online platforms and physical store locations.
- Inventory Removal: Remove all affected products from store shelves and online listings immediately. Please segregate these products from other inventory and ensure they are no longer available for purchase.
- Product Return Instructions: We will coordinate with you to arrange the safe return of the affected products. Please await further instructions on the shipping and handling process.
