The result is a weighted geometric mean of the colours' swatch hex values, computed in linear (gamma-decoded) RGB to approximate subtractive pigment mixing — mixing complements drives the result toward a dark, muted neutral, the way real paint does. It is a planning aid, not a formulation. No spectral measurement or physical-paint testing is involved; real results vary with pigment load, binder, grind, layer thickness and application.
