- • All content - including text, imagery, product data, and design - is owned by or licensed to Michael Harding and may not be reproduced without written permission.
- • Product imagery and swatches are shown as a guide; actual colours may vary due to screen calibration and the handmade nature of our paints.
Products & Pricing
- • We make every effort to display colours, specifications, and prices accurately. Information is provided in good faith but may be subject to change without notice.
- • We reserve the right to limit quantities, withdraw products, and correct errors in pricing or description at any time.
- • As our paints are handmade, minor variations in texture and finish may occur; this is a characteristic of artist-grade materials.
Orders & Payment
- • An order placed through this website is an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch.
- • Payment is taken at the point of order via our approved payment providers.
- • If we are unable to fulfil an order we will notify you and refund any payment made in full.
Delivery & Returns
- • Delivery timescales are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.
- • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel an order within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, excluding return postage, provided goods are returned unused and in original condition.
- • Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced or refunded in accordance with your statutory rights.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, product names, imagery, and content remain the property of Michael Harding Art Formulas Ltd. Nothing on this site grants any licence to use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michael Harding shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or its products. Our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

Product Information, Use and Colour Representation
Product Information and Suitability
Information provided on this website regarding our products, materials, properties, characteristics and suggested applications is based on research, testing and experience undertaken by Michael Harding Art Formulas Ltd. This information is provided for general guidance only and should not be regarded as a guarantee that a product will be suitable for a particular purpose, technique or application.
The performance and appearance of artists’ materials may be affected by numerous factors outside our control, including the materials with which they are used, preparation and application methods, environmental and storage conditions, surface preparation, individual working practices and the combination of products or materials.
Users are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended purpose. We strongly recommend reading all relevant product labels, instructions and safety information and carrying out appropriate tests before commencing a final work or project, particularly when using unfamiliar materials, combining products or developing individual techniques.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.
Colour Representation
We make reasonable efforts to represent the colours, characteristics and appearance of our products accurately. However, images and colour representations displayed on our website or reproduced in printed materials are for guidance only.
The appearance of colour can vary considerably according to factors including screen type, device settings, display calibration, brightness, ambient lighting, photography, printing processes, inks and paper. We therefore cannot guarantee that colours displayed digitally or reproduced in print will precisely match the colour or appearance of the physical product.
Where accurate colour selection is important, we strongly recommend viewing a physical product, colour sample or swatch in person before making a final selection or purchase. Customers should not rely solely upon digital or printed colour representations when making colour-critical decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Michael Harding Art Formulas Ltd shall not be liable for losses arising from the use or application of a product in a manner for which it is unsuitable, or where the user has failed to follow applicable product instructions, warnings or safety information.
